EULA for VST3 and CLAP editions
Last updated: 20 August 2026
This End-User Licence Agreement (EULA) governs the free VST3 and CLAP editions made available by Paolo Malpeli. By downloading, installing, or using the software, you agree to these terms.
1. Covered software
This EULA applies only to the VST3 and CLAP editions of Natural Stereo Spatializer and Room Balancing Technique distributed through this website, including updates, documentation, and supporting files supplied with them. It does not apply to other website content or services.
2. Free licence
The software is licensed, not sold. Paolo Malpeli grants you a free, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the VST3 and CLAP editions on devices under your control, including for commercial audio productions.
- You may make one reasonably necessary backup copy.
- The licence does not transfer any intellectual-property right in the software.
3. Restrictions
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you may not:
- sell, sublicense, rent, lease, distribute, or make the software available, by itself or as part of collections, installers, or other products;
- modify, translate, create derivative works from, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, except where mandatory law permits this;
- remove or alter any ownership, copyright, or other rights notices in the software.
4. Ownership, third-party notices, and trademarks
The software and all related rights remain with Paolo Malpeli or their respective owners. Any included third-party dependencies remain subject to their own permissive licences and notices; these do not alter this EULA for the software as a whole.
VST and VST3 are trademarks of Steinberg Media Technologies GmbH. Use of those marks is subject to Steinberg's usage guidelines and does not imply affiliation with, endorsement by, or sponsorship by Steinberg.
5. Source code
The VST3 and CLAP editions are distributed in binary form under this EULA. Except where required by a third-party licence applicable to a specific component, this licence grants no right to the software's source code.
6. No warranties and limitation of liability
The software is supplied free of charge, on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without express or implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, availability, error-free operation, or compatibility with any particular system, host, or audio project.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Paolo Malpeli is not liable for data loss, lost profits, business interruption, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the software. You are responsible for backups and for testing the software in your own workflow.
7. Updates and termination
No update, support, or maintenance is promised. Updates may be supplied under updated terms. This licence terminates automatically if you breach this EULA; you must then stop using the software and remove all copies.
8. Applicable law and contact
This EULA is governed by Italian law, without prejudice to mandatory rights available to you under applicable law, including those of your country of residence if you are a consumer. For questions about this licence, contact support@paolutus.it.
