Stria Privacy Policy

Stria respects users’ privacy and is designed according to the principle of data minimisation.

2. Data Collection

Stria does not collect, store or transmit users’ personal data to external servers.

The app does not require an account and does not use its own analytics, profiling, advertising or user-tracking systems.

3. Photo Library Access

Stria requires read and write access to the Photo Library solely to display photographs selected by the user and to save annotated screenshots.

Photos, their technical metadata - such as dimensions and focal length, when available - and calculated measurements are processed on the device. They are not sent by the data controller to external servers.

Photo Library access requires the user’s permission through iOS privacy controls and can be revoked at any time in system settings.

4. Saving and Editing Photos

At the user’s request, Stria can save an annotated copy of an image to the Photo Library. The app can also change a photo’s favourite status or delete a photo only when the user expressly activates the relevant function.

These operations are performed locally through Apple system services.

5. Data Retention

Because Stria does not collect personal data on its own servers, the data controller does not retain personal data through the app.

Photos and saved screenshots remain in the user’s Photo Library and are managed by the user through iOS.

6. Third-Party Services

Stria does not integrate advertising services, profiling tools or third-party analytics services that collect personal data through the app.

Use of iPhone, iPad, iOS, iPadOS, the App Store and Apple system services remains subject to Apple’s applicable terms and privacy policies.

7. Your Rights

Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) provides individuals with specific rights concerning the processing of their personal data.

Because Stria does not collect or retain personal data on its own servers, there will normally be no personal data held by Stria for which access, correction, deletion or portability can be requested.

You may contact the data controller using the contact information in this policy with any privacy question. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if Stria’s features or data-processing practices change. The current version will be made available on this page together with its latest revision date.
