Last updated: August 8, 2026

CueTalk respects users’ privacy and is designed according to the principle of data minimization.

1. Data Controller

The data controller responsible for CueTalk is:
Paolo Malpeli
Email: Contact the data controller

For any questions or requests concerning privacy or data protection, you may contact us at the email address above.

2. Data Collection

CueTalk does not collect, store, or transmit users’ personal data to external servers.

The app does not require users to create an account and does not use its own analytics, profiling, advertising, or user-tracking systems.

3. Microphone Access

CueTalk requires access to the iPhone microphone solely to provide its talkback functionality.

Audio captured by the microphone is processed in real time on the device to enable communication through the selected audio device.

CueTalk does not record, store, or transmit microphone audio to external servers.

Microphone access requires the user’s permission through the privacy mechanisms provided by iOS. Permission can be revoked at any time through the iPhone’s system settings.

4. Audio and Bluetooth Devices

CueTalk uses audio and Bluetooth functionality provided by iOS to allow users to work with compatible audio devices.

Information required to select and use an audio device is used solely to provide this functionality and is not transmitted by the data controller to external servers.

5. Data Retention

Because CueTalk does not collect personal data on its own servers, the data controller does not retain personal data through the app.

Consequently, there is no personal data collected by CueTalk that needs to be deleted upon request.

6. Third-Party Services

CueTalk does not integrate advertising services, profiling tools, or third-party analytics services that collect personal data through the app.

Use of the iPhone, iOS, the App Store, and Apple system services remains subject to Apple’s applicable terms and privacy policies.

7. Your Rights

Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) provides individuals with specific rights concerning the processing of their personal data.

Because CueTalk does not collect or retain personal data on its own servers, there will normally be no personal data held by CueTalk for which access, correction, deletion, or portability can be requested.

You may nevertheless contact the data controller using the contact information provided in this Privacy Policy if you have any questions concerning privacy.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if CueTalk’s features or data-processing practices change.

The current version will be made available on this page together with its latest revision date.
